Sponsorship:

Tournament Format:
- Four person best ball scramble, that is four people on a team, after each hit, the "best" ball is selected, and the other three pick up and play the next shots within a club length of the best ball.
- "Bogie is your friend." Once the Team has hit its par attempts and any mulligans, pick up and record a bogie on the hole. To maintain pace of play, do not make any bogie attempts, but rather immediately pick up, record a bogie and move to the next hole.
Makeup of Teams:
- To promote team diversification and encourage female participation, teams with at least one female player will have their gross score reduced by 1 stroke, and 1 additional stroke for each female member on the team, that is, 2 strokes for one female, 3 strokes for 2 female players, etc.
- Everyone may pick their own team. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SIGN UP IN A TEAM -- EMAIL LUKE CULPEPPER (LCulpepper@winston.com) WITH THE TEAM LIST AFTER THE MEMBERS HAVE REGISTERED
- For each player with HDCP < 10 (i.e. average better than low 80’s), the team must have a player who routinely shoots in the 100’s. Please email your handicap to Luke Culpepper (LCulpepper@winston.com).
- If you are not on a team when you sign up, the tournament director will assign you to a team.
- Tournament director may move players between teams.
Prizes:
- Closest to Pin, Men and Women Divisions.
- Longest Drive, Men and Women Divisions.
- Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, based on net score, i.e., gross score less strokes for teams with woman player(s).
- Prizes for "Best Dressed," Men and Women Divisions (voted on by golfers).
- There may be some restrictions on winning more than one prize. One person cannot win more than one of No. 1 or more than one of No. 2
Rules Decisions/Scoring:
All rules decisions/scoring for purposes of determining Prizes for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, will be made by Quail Valley Golf Course. In the event of a tie, a sudden-death scorecard playoff reviewing the holes from hardest to easiest handicap rating, will be used. The Tournament Director will determine winners of prize nos. 1-2.
