The Houston Science and Engineering Fair was held on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 1:30-5:00 pm.

The recipients of the HIPLA Science Fair awards and scholarships are:

• Senior division, Konrad Werner from Bellaire High School
• Freshman division, Leon Lin from the Harmony School of Excellence
