Registration for the Seventh Annual Northern District of Texas Bench Bar Conference (April 19, 2024, at the Westin Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas) is now available here. Capacity is limited, so please register soon! Breakfast, lunch, a closing reception, and CLE credit (pending final approval) will be provided. The complete agenda and list of panelists is forthcoming. We look forward to participation by many judges from the Northern District, Eastern District, and the Fifth Circuit. Discussion topics currently include, among others: (1) the use of demonstratives; (2) litigating high-stakes government matters; (3) removal and other procedural pitfalls; (4) artificial intelligence, the law, and the courts; (5) bankruptcy trends and updates (6) sentencing and plea agreements; (7) the appellate process from trial to appeal; (8) intellectual property trends and updates; (9) tips and tricks from NDTX magistrate judges; and so more!
