Google v. Oracle: The Copyright Case of the Century – and What It Means for Software


On April 5, 2021, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down its much-anticipated decision in Google v. Oracle, the most important software copyright case in a generation.  This program analyzes the factual and legal basis of the Court’s opinion, assesses the impact of the decision on the software industry, and provides practical tips for advising software clients.
